Dr. Silverman brings
the combination of internal medicine and extensive experience
in emergency medicine to MRCP. He is a cum laude graduate
of University of Pennsylvania. He received his M.D. from Temple
University Medical College where he was elected to the Alpha
Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Silverman completed his internship at Allentown General
Hospital and his residency in internal medicine at Allentown
Hospital and Lehigh Valley Hospital. He practiced in Allentown
for several years and was on the active teaching staff of
both Allentown and Lehigh Valley Hospitals. In addition, he
was chairman of the emergency medicine department at Jersey
Shore Hospital in Jersey Shore, PA.
Dr. Silverman is board certified in internal medicine and
board eligible in emergency medicine. He is certified in Advanced
Life Support and Advanced Trauma. He is a member of the American
Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the
Montgomery County Medical Society and a diplomate of the American
Board of Medicine.

| Lynn Yang, M.D |
 |
Dr. Lynn Yang brings her expertise in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to MRCP. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Yang was born in Hammond, Indiana and attended Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yang completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Allegheny University – Graduate Hospital and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Allegheny University – Graduate Hospital where she was the chief resident.
Dr. Yang is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), American Medical Association (AMA), International Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (AAMA), Delaware Valley Chapter of American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the Harvard-Radcliff Club of Philadelphia.

| Francis
V. Cavoto, M.D., Ph.D., FCP |

Dr. Cavoto brings
extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management
of trauma and musculoskeletal injuries to his work at MRCP.
He received his M.D. and Ph.D. in physiology and biophysics
from the Medical College of Pennsylvania where he served on
the physiology, pharmacology and medicine staffs. He completed
his surgical residency at Abington Memorial Hospital and his
urological residency at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Cavoto has published extensively in the fields of physiology
and pharmacology. Also, he has instructed in Urology at both
Jefferson Medical College and the University of Pennsylvania,
while on the staff of Methodist and Graduate Hospitals. He
is an instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is certified
in both Advanced Trauma and Pediatric Life Support.
Prior to joining MRCP, Dr. Cavoto was chairman of the department
of emergency medicine at Rolling Hill Hospital, a position
he held for seven years. During that period he served as an
instructor of emergency medicine at Temple University and
the Department of Continuing Education at the Medical College
of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Cavoto is a member of the American Medical Association,
the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American
Congress of Rehabilitative Medicine, The Royal Society of
Medicine, London, England, and the American College of Occupational
Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Clinical
Pharmacology, a diplomate of the National Board of Medicine,
a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Disability
Consultants and a member of the Federation of State Licensing
Boards.

| Ira
H. Weiner, D.O., AOBFP |
 |
Dr.
Ira H. Weiner brings twenty years of experience in osteopathic
medicine and surgery to the Medical Rehabilitation Centers
of Pennsylvania. Dr. Weiner completed his undergraduate
degree at Rutgers University and received his medical
degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and
Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his surgical
and urological residence at Interboro General Hospital
in Brooklyn, New York, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine Hospital, and the Metropolitan Hospital –
Parkview Division. As
a board certified family practitioner, Dr. Weiner
has been practicing medicine in the Philadelphia region
since 1982. Dr. Weiner has applied his special training
in musculoskeletal diseases in private practice. For
the last fifteen years, he was in solo practice at
Media Family Practice, Media, PA, where he also taught
interns, residents and preceptors from the Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1999, he was honored
with the Outstanding Contribution Award from Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine.
During
his specialty training, Dr. Weiner published in numerous
journals including the Annals of Emergency Medicine.
He also has been acknowledged for his research contributions
at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
in the field of Parenteral Hyperalimentation.
He
is a member of the American Medical Association, the
American Osteopathic Association, the Pennsylvania
Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association,
the Delaware County Medical Society, and the American
College of General Practitioners.

| Bruce
J. Barris, M.D. |
 |
Dr. Barris is board
certified in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate
study at LaSalle University, and received his medical degree
from Temple University Medical School. He completed his internal
medicine residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital and completed an
additional year residency in neurology at Hahnemann Medical
School.
He is currently on the hospital staff of Tenet Hospital -
Elkins Park Campus, St. Mary's Hospital and Delaware Valley
Hospital.
Dr. Barris practiced in the Philadelphia area for fifteen
years prior to joining MRCP.
Dr. Barris is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society,
Bucks County Medical Society and American Academy of Family
Physicians. Further, he is certified in Advanced Life Support
and is a recipient of the American Medical Association Recognition
Award.

| Leslie
Dorf, M.P.T., ATC |
 |
Leslie Dorf graduated
from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in sports
medicine. He completed a graduate assistantship program as
an athletic trainer at Swarthmore College and a Master's Degree
in Physical Therapy at Hanhnemann University. He is a licensed,
Class A Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the Athletic
Trainers Association.
Les worked as an assistant athletic trainer under the direction
of Otho Davis and the Philadelphia Eagles in the early 1990's.
He brings to MRCP 16 years of clinical experience as both
a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer.

| Sanford Davne, M.D |
 |
Dr. Davne is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has been a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 20 years. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1976 and completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1981. He also obtained a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 1981.
Dr. Davne is an instructor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been an instructor for various continuing medical education courses for practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons and has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He is a member of the North American Spine Society.
